REPRESENTATIVE TRANSACTIONS/WORKS

• Counsel to PT Roatex Indonesia Toll System for a Public Private Partnership Project (i.e., the Multi Lane Free Flow for Indonesia’s Toll Road – the first cashless and contactless toll collection & payment system that will be applicable for Indonesian toll roads) in the Cooperation Framework with the Indonesian Toll Road Agency on behalf of the Ministry of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia.
• Counsel to Adaro Group in a joint venture transaction with another mining company group for the construction and development of coal mining logistic and infrastructure in Kalimantan, including the financing of such joint venture through a loan facility in the amount of USD100 million.
• Counsel to Mr. Garibaldi Thohir, as the purchaser, in the acquisition of PT Trimegah Sekuritas Tbk – a listed Indonesian security company.
• Counsel to PT Privy Identitas Digital (a fast-growing start-up company in the TMT field) and the founders in the Series A fund-raising conducted by the existing shareholders and a new offshore shareholder (Securemetric Berhad Pte Ltd and TMI Master Fund 1 Pte. Ltd.).
• Counsel to a ‘unicorn’ startup company in respect of the structure of a financial technology platform and its various products, together with advice on market place and e-money issues.
• Counsel to investors in an acquisition of one of Indonesia’s reputable credit scoring institutions.
• Counsel to one of Indonesia’s leading telecommunication company in various loan facility and financing transactions for its satellite development projects.
• Counsel to a Singapore company in a claim against a Malaysian company in multiple jurisdictions in relation to a shareholder dispute.
• Counsel to one of Indonesia’s giant palm oil companies in an arbitration dispute brought before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
• Assisting Soenardi Pardi of Hendra Soenardi as Indonesian law expert and foreign lawyer on Indonesian law in various disputes filed with international arbitration centres and courts.
