• Counsel to the sponsors in a proposed development of a 2 x 100 MW power plant in Kalimantan.
• Counsel to the purchaser in a proposed acquisition of an independent power producer in Sulawesi.
• Counsel to PT Tanjung Power Indonesia as the independent power producer and its sponsors in the development of 2 x 100 MW power plant in South Kalimantan and the US$545 million financing.
• Counsel to PT Adaro Power as a sponsor in the development of a 2 x 1,000 MW power plant in Central Java (using a Public Private Partnership scheme) and US$4.2 billion in financing. This transaction was recognized as the Project Finance Deal of the Year and the Indonesia Deal of the Year by Asian Legal Business in 2016, the Project Finance Deal of the Year in Asia by International Financial Law Review and the Deal of the Year in Asia Pacific for Power by IJGlobal (Project Finance and Infrastructure Journal) in 2017.
• Counsel to several coal suppliers to support PT Bhumi Jati Power in achieving financial close of the Tanjung Jati Expansion 2 x 1,000 MW Power Plant (Java-4) project.
• Counsel to the sponsors in the bidding of a 2 x 600 MW power plant in Sumatra.
• Counsel to PT Adaro Indonesia as the borrower and PT Adaro Energy Tbk as the guarantor in a US$1 billion facility from a group of international lenders.
• Counsel to PT Trinugraha Thohir as the borrower in a US$110 million facility from Standard Chartered Bank.
• Counsel to a ‘unicorn’ startup company in respect of the structure of a financial technology platform and its various products, together with advice on market place and e-money issues.
