Prior to rejoining Hendra Soenardi, Victor practiced at other prominent law firms in Jakarta, with focus on mergers & acquisitions, real property, and financing transactions. At Hendra Soenardi, he regularly advises clients in high profile transactions and cross border commercial disputes.

Victor focuses primarily on mergers & acquisitions, banking and finance, commercial dispute resolution, and construction services.

He has experience in dealing with telecommunications, real property, mining, construction, oil & gas, and financial sectors and has a particular interest on corporate governance matters.

Victor speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Counsel to PT Adaro Indonesia in its Multicurrency Syndicated Facility Agreement of USD 250 million and IDR 3.8 trillion.
• Counsel to PT Kalimantan Aluminium Industry and PT Kaltara Power Indonesia in the USD 1.8 billion project financing project development of a 500,000 tpa aluminium smelter and power plant located in Kawasan Industri Hijau Indonesia being one of the largest green industrial parks in the world.
• Counsel to Bester Telecom International Limited, a leading Chinese telecommunication network company, in the proposed acquisition of 55% of equity of PT Semesta Energi Services.
• Counsel to PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk in the succesful acquisition of Energy Equity Holdings Pty Ltd (EEH) and Epic Sulawesi Gas Pty Ltd (ESG). EEH and ESG own 100% shares in Energy Equity Epic (Sengkang) Pty Ltd, which acts as the operator of, and owns 51% of participating interest in PSC Sengkang.
• Counsel to PT Pantai Jimbaran Indah as the hotel owner in negotiating the Hotel Management Agreement with Ascott International as the hotel operator, and in the development of Oakwood Jimbaran Villas & Residence in Bali.
• Counsel to a leading hotel developer in the negotiation of Hotel Management Agreement with multiple luxury hotel operators in the development of a lifestyle hotel and a beach club in Bali.
• Counsel to (i) Consortium Fiberhome-MTD-Telkominfra, (ii) Consortium Lintasarta-SEI-Huawei, and (iii) Consortium IBS-ZTE, in the successful continuation of more than USD 1 billion national Strategic Priority Project of BTS 4G Infrastructure Development in 5.618 rural areas, where the project owner is BAKTI Kominfo. The continuation of the project was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on 28 December 2023 in a ceremony held in Talaud, East Indonesia.
• Counsel to a leading Thailand based mining company in the proposed acquisition of an integrated coal mining business in Sumatera consisting of more than 20 operating companies.
• Counsel to the controlling shareholder of a public listed telecommunication company in its proposed sale to the telco-focused arm of the largest US private equity company.
• Counsel to the Indonesian partners in the joint venture with Stemcord SG for the development of a cutting-edge stemcell clinic and cordblood bank facilities in Banten Healthcare Special Economic Zone.
• Counsel to a leading private hospital chain headquartered in South Jakarta in its proposed management cooperation of a regional hospital.
• Counsel to PT Dumai Tirta Persada, a water treatment plant joint venture of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. and Adaro Water, in its IDR 325 billion syndicated project financing of a water treatment plant with maximum capacity of 450 litre/second in Kota Dumai. The lenders in this project financing are PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero).
• Counsel to PT Adaro Tirta Brayan in its IDR 150 billion project financing for the development of water treatment plant with the capacity of 500 litre/second in Kota Medan.
• Counsel to a leading public company in its adjacent to IDR 25 trillion corporate financing from multiple banks.
• Counsel to one of the largest mineral companies in Indonesia in its joint venture with one of the leading Chinese smelter companies and in the project development of the largest integrated metal refineries in Indonesia with a total project value of more than IDR 30 trillion.
• Counsel to water treatment project companies and their holding company as borrowers and guarantors in multiple projects and corporate financings with a total loan of around IDR 800 billion.
